The Workspaces platform is configured and used in many scenarios. This section covers security topics, including hardening Docker, PostgreSQL, the underlying systems, and the Kasm Workspaces configuration. It also answers common security questions that organizations have.

Many organizations are required to implement a secure baseline configuration, such as DISA STIGs or CIS Benchmarks. Existing STIG checklists and CIS Benchmarks cover the components and dependencies that Kasm uses. Kasm follows the general DISA guidance in the Application Security and Development Security STIGs for the Kasm Workspaces product and its configuration guidance.
