Linux server overview

Kasm Workspaces delivers Linux desktops and applications to users through isolated, browser-accessible sessions. The Connection Proxy converts RDP, VNC, and SSH connections into authenticated, browser-native sessions, so the target server is not exposed to unauthenticated traffic. This overview describes how Kasm manages and supports Linux servers as part of the Zero Trust Workspace Delivery platform, and links to the configuration guides.

Authentication​

Kasm supports several connection credential options for Linux servers: static credentials, prompt, single sign-on with dynamic local accounts, and single sign-on with Active Directory. For a comparison of the options and their trade-offs, see Linux authentication.
